Open space in Acomb

I note that the Labour ward councillor for Acomb has again bemoaned the lack of open space in Acomb, blaming it all on the current administration.

Work started today, Monday 4 June, on the Wetherby Road roundabout upgrade, marking the start of a £38m programme to reduce congestion and journey times on York’s busy outer ring road.

After six years and three properties, with council tax fraud topping £2800, John Rangeley has been sentenced. Pleading guilty to 9 counts of fraud the 51 year-old had claimed single person discounts at three properties he owned in York, with his scheme spanning 6 years (from 2010-2016).

York Outer MP calls for reassurances on East Coast Mainline

Following the Secretary of State for Transport’s announcement that Virgin Trains East Coast’s contract for operating services on the East Coast Main Line would be terminated on 24 June 2018, Mr Julian Sturdy sought assurances that infrastructure challenges would be addressed going forward.
